Meditation

Meditation usually focuses on calming the mind by sitting and resting quietly, often with the eyes closed. Meditation may be supported by soothing sounds (e.g. waves) or the sounding of a repetitive phrase (mantra). Meditation has numerous benefits from relieving stress to lowering blood pressure. Many people practising meditation combine their meditation practices with a belief of spiritual and personal growth, or transcendental experience.
